Radtída Norasingh
Founder of JIJI's Jazz Co.
Radtída Norasingh aka TÍDA is a first-generation Thai-Lao multi-disciplinary artist with a primary focus in music. Tída champions titles like musician, producer, curator, and community builder whose work sits at the intersection of music, storytelling, and culture.
With a background in visual arts, literature, tattooing, sound design, and a long list of mediums, Norasingh moves with the intention of reminding artists to give flowers to themselves and each other.
As the founder of JIJI’s Jazz Club, she has spent the past several years reimagining what live music spaces can feel like for a new generation – creating experiences centered around curiosity, collaboration and genuine human connection.
She is not JIJI.
Under her direction, JIJI’s has evolved from intimate jazz gatherings into a growing cultural platform that includes concerts, listening rooms, artist markets, educational programming, multimedia storytelling, and creative collaborations. Guided by the philosophy of “collaboration, not competition,” her projects invite people to put their phones down, discover new artists, meet strangers, and participate in a community that extends far beyond a single event.
Alongside her work as a curator, Tída creates music and visual projects that reflect the same values of vulnerability, experimentation, and thoughtful design. Success isn’t measured by sold-out rooms or viral moments. It’s measured by the conversations that happen after the music ends, the collaborations that are born, and the communities that continue growing long after everyone goes home.

The first JIJI's Jazz Club was held out of Tída's tattoo studio in the Arts District of Los Angeles featuring a performance by her band + an open jam, tea, and dim sum.

The club transformed into an underground monthly jazz club & artist market that highlighted an artist of a medium other than music and a band to headline. The only way people knew of the events were through word of mouth.
For Tída's birthday, she was invited to do a show at Resident DTLA that sold out leading to the offer of a residency. She pitched the concept of JIJI's to the venue and moved the club out of her studio into a staple location of Los Angeles.
The club's attendance outgrew the patio and moved into the main stage of the Resident - allowing the outdoor space to be dedicated to the Artist Market and the six different creative tables + the main stage to be dedicated to the music.
While the Jazz Club + Open Jam was growing, Tída created a second series called JIJI's Jazz Lounge that focused on Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Tea. Here, club members were invited to bring books, puzzles, journals, and other independent quiet activities to do while the line up of live music was less about high energy jazz and more about grounding yourself in an intimate setting.
JIJI's Celebrates One Year Anniversary! The line up consisted of Tída's father's band (a collective made up of her aunt and uncles), Bay Area artists Afterthought & The Top Chefs, and an open jam.
The bar & stage we once called home for our original monthly open jam closed down forever and changed its locks over night. It was very dramatic, very unexpected, and very scary. In a lot of ways it was a blessing. We'd out grown the venue and had been talking about finding a new space. The universe decided for us, leading to our world expanding even more. We began throwing shows at different venues all over LA, different collabs, different programs. We were no longer limited to one kind of event.
JIJI's first show & fundraiser in New York in collaboration with Frontyard.fm and VYBE to raise funds for Make The Road - a movement building power of immigrant, Black, and brown communities and supporting families affected by ICE.
JIJI's first show & fundraiser in San Francisco in collaboration with Family Not A Group to raise funds for 5 Elements Youth Program - a youth mentorship program that focuses on art, critical education, and civic engagement for the community of SF.
JIJI's gets a refresh. Still a grassroots community, we opened our resources more with a website, community bulletin board sharing other events and programs that amplified the spirit of artists supporting artists.

JIJI's celebrates 2 Year Anniversary with their first JIJI's Jazz Tour in collaboration with Madrid jazz collective 55b. Cities Included: Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Oakland, Long Beach, San Diego, and two added shows in New York.
JIJI's continues to amplify what they stand for and continue bringing artists and appreciators together. Every show is an act of protest and an example of how beautiful life can be when we put ourselves out there and take a chance on each other.
